BAE Systems in Huntsville is looking for ambitious Systems Software Interns to join our team. We put our customers first - exemplified by our mission: "We Protect Those Who Protect Us®." This isn't just a summer internship-for local candidates, this is a gateway to a long-term career. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, developing the embedded systems that protect those who serve. What You Will Do: As a Systems Software Intern, you won't just be observing; you'll be contributing. You will: Develop & Integrate: Work on understanding Systems and embedded software development for complex electronic systems. Hands-On Testing: Step out of the code and into the lab, using professional test equipment to integrate and validate your software on actual hardware to align with Systems Requirements. Technical Foundation: A solid understanding of basic electronics.

Full-Time Salary Range: $54631 - $73752 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
