Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Drafting Intern to support our engineering team with technical drawing updates, documentation, and design support. This internship provides hands-on experience working with engineering drawings, AutoCAD, and real-world project documentation in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The intern will gain exposure to engineering standards, drafting best practices, and the coordination of technical information across projects.


Key Responsibilities Not Limited To

  • Assist engineers and drafting team members with project-related tasks and deliverables
  • Review engineering sketches, drawings, and specifications for consistency and accuracy
  • Support the preparation and markup of technical drawings using AutoCAD and drafting standards
  • Convert rough sketches and field notes into standardized engineering templates and drawings
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and documentation updates
  • Assist with document control activities, including tracking revisions and engineering change updates
  • Verify engineering data and assist with identifying discrepancies in drawings or calculations
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement corrections and revisions to drawings
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Drafting, Architecture, or related field
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting software (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
