Job Title: Analytics Engineer Co-Op or Intern
Location: Anderson, SC (First Quality Tissue SE)
Job Purpose:
We will prepare you for an exciting manufacturing and technical career! FQT will develop your strong technical skills, refine your communication and analytical skills, and you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of people.
The Analytics Engineer will collaborate with experienced data scientists and engineers to develop analytical reports and conduct data science studies which drive innovation and improve business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the data science team to understand business problems and identify opportunities to leverage analytics and machine learning.
  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from enterprise SQL databases and historians.
  • Develop and deploy analytical solutions using python and relevant libraries.
  • Visualize and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders using python and/or Power BI.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations teams for integration of analytical and machine learning tools with operations for real-time optimization.

Experience / Skills:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum 3.2 GPA.

  • Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-driven and motivated to complete projects independently.
