Description
Take the next step in your technical sales career by becoming a part of the FEV North America Business Development team. FEV North America, Inc is part of the FEV Group, an internationally recognized propulsion and vehicle engineering company that supplies solutions to the global transportation industry.
We are looking for driven individuals, with experience in engineering services business development, to bring FEV's innovative mobility solutions to customers in a broad range of industries, including automotive, marine, recreation, commercial, rail, and off-highway.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Support FEV Business Development in vehicle & powertrain engineering, intelligent mobility, and software development in the commercial vehicle and mobility supplier market
  • Develop and/or strengthen partnerships with local OEMs and suppliers
  • Define and execute sales strategies, based on an understanding of the unique challenges faced by our customers under changing market needs in the mobility industry
  • Identify & develop new business opportunities and brand awareness through effective networking, including proactive personal interaction and participation in trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Support engineering team in identification of customer requirements and development of proposals to meet or exceed customer expectations

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in business development
  • Strong professional network, with connections in the US mobility market
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
  • Self-starter: ability to function in a matrixed, team organization, taking accountability for meeting business objectives with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' experience in mobility engineering, with strong focus on engineering services
  • Experience in the sale of services related to powertrain testing
  • Experience in the sale of services related to intelligent mobility technologies
  • Strong knowledge of the commercial and off-highway vehicle markets
