Responsibilities
  • CAD Operation/Design; preparing design drawings, details, and sketches from sketches, concepts or mark‑ups provided by team engineers or project management staff
  • Drawing and plot drawings to scale, as required
  • Working under the direction of the CAD Manager to design complex drawings, construction documents, routine design layouts, detailed drawings, equipment skid and piping.
  • Prepare complex drawings, scaled equipment layouts, and equipment details
  • Prepare and work with bills of material and other construction documents
  • Develop equipment/material schedules and material takeoffs, from drawings or sketches
  • Support preparation of requests for bids for subcontractors and material vendors, as directed
  • Create and markup existing PDF documents using Adobe
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, and reviewing relevant technical publications.
Requirements and Qualifications

Skills You Bring to This Role:

  • Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

What you need to be successful
  • At least 2 years of professional experience working with SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs., and to team lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform prolonged kneeling, squatting, sitting, crawling, and climbing stairs, ladders and work stands
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the entire duration of shift
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects
