Alliance Technical Group is a leading provider of emissions monitoring systems, software, and services for power plants and industrial facilities across the country. We are currently seeking a CEMS Design Engineer to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a CEMS Design Engineer, you will collaborate across Engineering, Sales, Production, and Project teams to design, support, and deliver highquality CEMS solutions that meet customer needs. This role involves technical design work, documentation, vendor coordination, and occasional onsite support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Sales teams to develop CEMS designs and solutions.
  • Create parts lists and material specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors to procure materials and components.
  • Work with the Production/Service Department to troubleshoot system integration and testing issues.
  • Support Technical Writing and Project Management teams in developing system documentation and manuals.
  • Create, revise, and finalize documents and drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Prepare and maintain technical submittals.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed for technical discussions, kickoff meetings, installation oversight, or troubleshooting (up to 15%).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
  • Experience writing design specifications and interpreting customer requirements.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic controls and relay logic.
  • Knowledge of power distribution and electrical controls.
  • Experience creating detailed electrical design drawings, schematics, and related documentation for electromechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Electrical and Mechanical).
  • Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Demonstrated track record as a strong performer and team player.
