Business Unit Manager is responsible for leading all business support operations for assigned strategic customer account. This individual serves as the primary operational leader connecting customers, channel partners, manufacturing operations, supply chain and other functions to ensure flawless execution from customer forecast through product shipment.

The ideal candidate is an experienced business leader with exceptional program management, customer engagement, and operational execution skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-technology manufacturing environment.

Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, operational discipline, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams across multiple global regions.

Customer Business Leadership
  • Serve as the primary operational owner for assigned customer relationship.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer operations, procurement, planning, and executive leadership.
  • Lead regular business reviews, operational meetings, and executive updates.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization while balancing company objectives.
Business Operations Management
  • Own the end-to-end business support operation from customer demand through shipment.
  • Ensure flawless execution of order management, forecasting, scheduling, backlog management, and fulfillment activities.
  • Lead weekly and monthly demand reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Articulate any areas that prevent us from meeting customer demand and expectations
  • Monitor business performance using key operational metrics and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement across operational processes.
Channel Partner Management
  • Serve as the operational interface with global sales channel partners.
  • Coordinate customer demand, pricing execution, order flow, inventory management, and shipment priorities.
  • Ensure channel partners execute in alignment with customer expectations and contractual commitments.
  • Resolve operational challenges impacting order fulfillment.
Manufacturing Coordination
  • Act as the conduit between customers, sales organizations, and our manufacturing facility.
  • Partner closely with factory operations, production planning, procurement, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Balance customer priorities with manufacturing capacity and material availability.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to improve on-time delivery, inventory turns, and operational efficiency.
Order Management Excellence
  • Ensure accurate and timely order entry, order validation, scheduling, backlog management, and shipment execution.
  • Monitor order status throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Identify supply constraints and lead recovery plans.
  • Drive timely communication of delivery commitments and schedule changes.
Financial & Business Performance
  • Manage customer backlog, inventory exposure, and operational KPIs.
  • Support forecasting and financial planning activities.
  • Manage customer commitments.
  • Identify operational risks impacting revenue recognition or customer commitments.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in business operations, program management, customer operations, supply chain, or manufacturing.
  • 5+ years leading customer-facing operational teams.
  • Experience supporting global OEM, hyperscale, enterprise storage, server, or electronics manufacturing customers.
  • Strong knowledge of: Order Management, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management,and Manufacturing Operations
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence across global, matrixed organizations.
Preferred
  • Experience in EMS/ODM manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of data center, AI infrastructure, server, storage, or networking products.

Salary Range (annual) : $140,000.00 - $160,000.00

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
