Job description

PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the Senior Engineering Aide and Public Works Director, the employee assists the City Engineer or Consulting Engineer with a variety of office and field engineering tasks related to inspections, evaluations, field measurements, research, plan reviews, contract management and record keeping. The Engineering Aide II may perform inspections on projects to ensure compliance with specifications, prepares legal documents and easements, and assists in research and other related duties.
