Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Team as a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Support Engineer/Trainer for our F-35 Program! This position establishes and directs a training system and/or conducts classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for the safe maintenance, repair, and operation of aircraft, aircraft systems, ground equipment, tools, test equipment, stores and facilities, according to established procedures. May analyze current operating problems and future operating requirements to identify training needs and develop training programs. Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction. Provides assistance and support to all divisions in helping them determine their training needs and develop and conduct their maintenance training programs. Monitors the maintenance of company-wide training programs. Maintains currency in technical developments, technical training, and audiovisual techniques including the maintenance of company aircraft instruction manuals. Coordinates all required technical training and outside contract sales technical training programs.
Specific responsibilities include:
Coordinates the F-35 Flight Test maintenance and logistics training program at Edwards AFB.
Monitors the annual certifications for over 200 employees.
Facilitates with local and off-site trainers to schedule initial/recurring training. Conducts training for Foreign Object Debris/Damage (FOD) and Fall Protection.
Provides inputs to the Training Management System (TMS) and Learning Management System.
Ensures smooth transition during all future ALIS and TMS software version upgrades.
Serves as the training point of contact for all internal and external audits and responsible for providing corrective actions plans.
Must be a United States citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.
