Toyota-Denso Automotive Compressor Georgia (TACG) is looking for a Production Engineer to join our team in Pendergrass, Georgia. In this role, you'll help improve manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and production efficiency while working closely with teams across the plant.

What You'll Do
  • Improve manufacturing processes with a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Lead Kaizen and cost-reduction projects.
  • Support assembly, machining, CNC, robotics, tooling, and equipment improvements.
  • Design and develop tooling and equipment using CAD, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Manage engineering changes, tooling projects, and equipment installations.
  • Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to solve problems and implement improvements.
  • Analyze data and ROI to support engineering and cost-saving decisions.
  • Apply TPS, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, JIT, and PDCA principles to daily work.
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or related Engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred:

  • Manufacturing or production engineering experience, especially assembly processes.
  • Experience with CNC equipment and cutting tools.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, robotics, tooling, or automation.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or TPS.
