  1. School Nurse
  2. Options are either a permanent summer school assignment or substitute as needed.
  3. Position starts at varying times depending on your program assignment. Those dates range from June 9, 2025 through July 31, 2025.
  4. No programing will be held on June 19, 2025 and July 4, 2025.
  5. All programs are a four day week, there are no Friday classes.

The YCSD Summer School programs at Davis K-8, Ferguson K-8, McKinley K-8, and Goode K-8, and William Penn Senior High School are seeking nurses to provide health coverage for all Summer School programming. S/he shall report to the YCSD Summer School Program Supervisor, and will be expected to work collaboratively and effectively with the YCSD School Summer School Supervisor as well as with all YCSD School Summer School staff.
The YCSD Summer School programs at various K-8 schools and William Penn Senior High School are currently in search of qualified nurses to provide essential health coverage throughout the Summer School sessions. Responsibilities include:
- Reporting directly to the YCSD Summer School Program Supervisor.
- Collaborating with the YCSD Summer School Supervisor and all summer school staff to ensure a safe and healthy environment for students.
- Administering first aid and medication as needed.
- Monitoring and managing any health-related incidents or emergencies that may arise during the summer programs.
- Providing health education and resources to both staff and students.
