Job description

Core Functions
  • Lead manufacturing projects to ensure timeline, cost, and outcome expectations are met.
  • Communicate recommendations for changes, prepare cost justifications, and coordinate the design and development of new processes, systems, equipment, or materials.
  • Utilize process mapping and value stream analysis tools to improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout. Conduct and analyze time and motion studies to ensure optimal part/product flow.
  • Identify, analyze, and implement continuous quality improvement in design and manufacturing process efficiency, safety, quality and cost.
  • Development of work process' to ensure that products are assembled properly and meet quality objectives through work instructions and training.
  • Perform capacity analysis, manufacturing process design, line layout design for existing and new manufacturing process and machine needs and develop better tools or systems.
  • Participate in procurement, installation, and runoff of new equipment
  • Coordinate, provide input, and participate in specification, design, build, development, and launch of new

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering
  • 2D and/or 3D CAD experience is required (preferably in AutoCAD and SolidWorks).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles
  • Experience with quality system planning and certification, such as IATF, ISO &
  • CNC, PLC, Robotic programming experience is preferred.
