Manufacturing Engineer needed on-site in Kenosha, WI to support high performance doors.
Essential Job Functions
  • Manages plans, directs, coordinates optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes
  • Ensures processes and operations function efficiently, safely and effectively
  • Troubleshoots operations, revises drawing and process sheets, verifies conformance, trains operators
  • Evaluation of existing processes to improve process flow
  • Researching automation techniques, testing new systems and planning layouts for optimization
  • Coordinates launch for new, revised products, processes and equipment
  • Follows Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles

What we are looking for:
  • Bachelors' degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical/engineering field. Masters Degree a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of related experience, preferable in engineering
  • 1-3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or assembly processes preferred
  • Experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining complex production machinery
  • Significant "hands on the product" experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes and implement countermeasures quickly to avoid problems
  • Knowledge and use of CAD software (SolidWorks is desirable)
