Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer โ€“ Commercial HVAC

NVIRIQ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in commercial HVAC systems to join our team and play a key role in an innovative, industry-changing program. This position supports the full product lifecycleโ€”from concept and design through validation, certification, and production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of RTUs, split systems, and heat pumps
  • Apply thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics principles
  • Manage projects, budgets, timelines, and reporting
  • Interface with manufacturing and suppliers
  • Support UL, Intertek, and AHRI certification efforts
  • Develop BOMs, specifications, and IOM documentation

Qualifications

  • BSME required, MSME preferred
  • 5+ years commercial HVAC product development experience
  • Experience with RTUs, heat pumps, and variable speed systems
  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or similar)
  • Familiarity with Carel controls and AHRI standards
  • Strong project management and communication skills
