This role supports Value Stream leadership in productivity improvement, lead time reduction, and New Product Development (NPD) activities, ensuring all customer and internal cost requirements are met or exceeded.**Key Responsibilities:*** Oversee development and optimization of manufacturing processes including assembly, testing, tooling, fabrication, and SPC while ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and AS9100 standards.* Drive continuous improvement through setup reduction, visual standard work, costโ€reduction initiatives, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen activities aligned with Crane Business Systems (CBS).* Evaluate and approve engineering requests, determining feasibility, make/buy status, and workload priorities; collaborate crossโ€functionally to ensure costโ€effective manufacturing for new and revised products.* Prepare and manage departmental budgets; oversee justification, selection, and acquisition of capital equipment to support operational efficiency.* Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities through participation in IPTs and ensure successful internal manufacturing readiness.* Provide leadership and guidance to assigned personnel, ensuring adherence to company policies, work rules, and applicable Bargaining Unit Agreements.**Minimum Qualifications:*** **Experience:** 8+ years of relevant experience demonstrating expertise in manufacturing engineering and process development.* **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of continuous improvement tools, raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost optimization techniques.* **Skills:** Critical thinking, time management, decision-making, and excellent communication skills; ability to motivate and develop teams effectively.* **Education:** Bachelorโ€™s degree in electrical, Electro-mechanical, Industrial, or Mechanical* **Eligibility Requirement:** This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
