Job Title: Controls Design Engineer – BMS
Location: Pelzer, SC

Job Summary:
Seeking a Controls Design Engineer with 4+ years of experience in BMS/FMS to design and support data center control systems. The role covers end-to-end controls design, from concept to commissioning, including schematics, I/O lists, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop FMS/BMS systems for data centers and power modules
  • Create schematics, riser diagrams, I/O lists, and sequence of operations (SOO)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors
  • Support integration, testing (FAT/SAT), and commissioning activities
  • Work with PLCs, relays, and communication protocols (Modbus, SNMP, TCP/IP)
  • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and customer requirements
  • Review submittals, define project scope, and provide technical support

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of controls/BMS engineering experience
  • Strong knowledge of FMS/BMS systems and data center controls
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Revit or similar tools
