Controls Design Engineer-Dallas, Fort Worth, or Austin - Large Controls Company
POSITION:
  • Applications Engineer/Controls Design Engineer
LOCATION:
  • This person can sit out of the offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, or Austin
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prior experience as an applications or Controls Engineer
  • Develop Sequence of Operations for each project
  • Provides product and application technical support and training
  • Visit customer sites to perform job walks
  • Programs equipment controllers and provides start-up assistance for new customers
  • Helps create quotes and controls estimations
  • Lead and develop detailed automation data and designs and prepare them for submittals
  • Ensure controls designs for the project are delivered on time and efficiently
  • Help and support controls programmers and project managers
  • Willingness to learn how to program in specific BAS lines
  • Knowledge and Understanding of Tridium Niagara or Honeywell is highly preferred
