Job Schedule: 9/80:ย Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday offย

Job Description:ย L3Harrisย is seeking a new graduate to support quality initiatives by helping develop andย maintainย processes that ensure products and materials meet required standards and customer expectations. In this role, the individual will work with cross-functional teams and customers to review quality performance, address issues, and support improvement efforts across operations. The position also offers experience in investigating nonconformances, contributing to corrective actions, andย assistingย with quality documentation and customer communications.ย 

Essential Functions:ย ย ย ย 

  • Develop and implement quality processes and procedures using statistical quality control statistics and analysesย ย 

  • Collaborate with both internal (Operations, Engineering, and Program Management) as well as external customers to ensure quality standards are in place and are being properly executedย ย 

  • Determineย root cause for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications and implement effective corrective action as neededย ย ย 

  • Write inspection procedures andย assistย in reviewing and evaluating in-process rejections and obtaining proper product dispositionsย ย ย 

  • Analyze quality performance for factory and collaborate with Operations Engineers to develop improvement plans forย identifiedย problem areasย ย ย 

  • Serve as primary customer Quality interface which may include having to conduct customer business briefingsย 

Qualifications:ย ย 

  • ย L1 -ย To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing aย bachelor's degreeย in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related fieldย or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.ย

  • Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Yellow or Green Beltย 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $56,000 - $104,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
