As a Digital Experience Specialist, you will support the development, optimization, and management of digital content across Repligen's web platforms while partnering closely with Digital Marketing leadership on the ongoing growth, optimization, and operational support of the Shopify eCommerce experience. General Responsibilities:

  • Support website and eCommerce content strategies that align with organizational goals and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing leadership to support the ongoing optimization and day-to-day operations of the Shopify eCommerce experience.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with digital marketing, creative, product, analytics, and operations teams.
  • Optimize website and eCommerce experiences for SEO, AI search visibility, UI/UX, accessibility, and conversion performance.
  • Utilize analytics and AI-driven insights to inform content and eCommerce optimization decisions.
  • Ensure consistency in content structure, product presentation, branding, and overall digital experience standards.
  • Support ongoing testing and optimization efforts to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Stay current with SEO, AI search trends, generative AI tools, UI/UX best practices, and evolving digital experience technologies.

Specific Responsibilities:

eCommerce Management & Growth (Shopify):

  • Partner with Digital Marketing leadership to support the day-to-day operations and ongoing optimization of the Shopify eCommerce experience, including product updates, merchandising, and site performance
  • Optimize product pages, category structures, and on-site merchandising to improve conversion rates and average order value
  • Support promotions, campaigns, and product launches in collaboration with marketing and product teams
  • Monitor eCommerce performance metrics including revenue, conversion rate, cart abandonment, and user behavior
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey, checkout experience, and overall UI/UX
  • Collaborate with development teams on Shopify enhancements, integrations, and feature improvements

Content Operations & Enablement:

  • Build, update, and publish website and eCommerce content across pages, landing experiences, and product content
  • Partner with marketing teams to intake, structure, and deploy content effectively across digital platforms
  • Ensure content is properly formatted, tagged, and aligned with templates, taxonomy, and content models
  • Maintain content accuracy, consistency, governance, and timeliness across digital properties
  • Support content workflows, approvals, and publishing schedules within CMS and DXP platforms

SEO, AI Search & Content Optimization:

  • Optimize content for both traditional SEO and emerging AI-driven search experiences, including generative search and answer engine optimization
  • Structure content using best practices for AI discoverability, including semantic markup, structured data, and clear content hierarchies
  • Support keyword, intent-based, and conversational search optimization strategies
  • Utilize tools such as SEMrush and analytics platforms to identify optimization opportunities and performance trends
  • Monitor search rankings, AI search visibility, and content performance across digital channels
  • Continuously refine content to improve discoverability across both traditional search engines and AI-generated experiences

Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leverage analytics platforms such as GA4, Power BI, and eCommerce reporting tools to track digital performance
  • Analyze key metrics including traffic, engagement, conversion rate, revenue, and user journeys
  • Partner with analytics and digital teams to support dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Utilize insights to support A/B testing, merchandising strategies, UI/UX improvements, and content optimization decisions

Personalization & User Experience:

  • Support implementation of personalized content and product experiences based on user behavior, segmentation, and intent data
  • Collaborate with marketing and technology teams to support dynamic content delivery and AI-driven recommendations
  • Contribute to conversion rate optimization initiatives across both website and eCommerce experiences
  • Help ensure a seamless, accessible, and consistent digital experience across devices, regions, and user segments

CMS, DXP & AI Tool Utilization:

  • Manage and publish content within CMS and DXP platforms such as Pimcore, Shopify, WordPress, or similar systems
  • Ensure proper content structuring, tagging, taxonomy, and governance across digital platforms
  • Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other generative AI platforms to support content optimization, tagging, workflow efficiency, and performance insights
  • Collaborate with development teams on templates, components, and integrations that support scalable and AI-ready content delivery
  • Maintain governance standards including workflows, version control, and publishing processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with digital marketing, demand generation, and lifecycle marketing teams to support campaigns and revenue initiatives
  • Work closely with creative and content teams to ensure accurate implementation of approved content and brand standards
  • Collaborate with SEO, analytics, UX, and development teams to improve digital performance across platforms

Emerging Capabilities & Innovation:

  • Support AI-driven content optimization, product recommendations, and personalization initiatives
  • Assist with implementation of AI-powered search, conversational experiences, and intelligent content delivery
  • Explore emerging AI tools and digital technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in website management, eCommerce, digital experience, or content operations roles
  • Experience supporting Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms
  • Experience working within CMS and DXP platforms such as Pimcore, WordPress, or similar systems
  • Strong understanding of SEO and emerging AI search optimization strategies
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as GA4, Power BI, and eCommerce reporting tools
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for content and workflow optimization
  • Ability to translate data and insights into actionable optimization recommendations

The estimated base salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $95,000-110,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package. We offer a wide range of benefits such as paid time off, health/dental/vision, retirement benefits and flexible spending accounts.
