Job description

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Annapolis, MD, for a skilled Small Engine Mechanic. The Small Engine Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain small engines, outdoor power tools, and landscaping equipment. Routine responsibilities include inspecting equipment for damage, replacing and repairing engine components, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring optimal equipment performance. This role also includes effectively communicating with clients about maintenance practices and offering recommendations to extend equipment life.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in small engine repair and maintenance, with knowledge of diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues

  • Proficiency in handling tools and equipment required for testing, repair, and maintenance of small engines

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair guides

  • Good communication skills for interacting with customers and providing clear advice on maintenance practices

  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

  • Organizational and time management skills to handle repairs and service requests effectively
