Service Technician โ€“ Repower

Adairsville, GA

Do you enjoy bringing engines back to life? Are you experienced in diesel engine assembly, teardown, repair, and testing? If so, Yanmar America is looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our growing Repower team in Adairsville, Georgia.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for rebuilding and repurposing Yanmar diesel engines, testing engine performance, and ensuring every engine meets our quality standards before shipment. If you take pride in your workmanship, value safety, and enjoy working independently while being part of a collaborative team, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do:
โœ” Build and repurpose diesel engines for Repower production
โœ” Start and complete production orders in D365
โœ” Test and evaluate engine performance using a test stand or dynamometer
โœ” Crate and package engines for shipment
โœ” Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles
โœ” Support other areas of the operation as needed

What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of diesel engine assembly, teardown, and repair experience (Yanmar experience preferred)
GED or equivalent required
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Familiarity with YDS and D365 preferred
Forklift and scissor lift operation experience
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new systems
Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality

Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Ability to work 8+ hours per day in a manufacturing environment
โ€ข Ability to lift and move heavy engine components, including assisting with lifting up to 100-pound cylinder heads
โ€ข Ability to navigate throughout the facility and maintain awareness of surroundings
