Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Calibration Engineer to support engine calibration, testing, and development activities. This role is focused on delivering high-quality calibrations that meet performance targets while supporting customer applications and ensuring product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply engine operating fundamentals, engine management strategies, and calibration techniques
- Develop and complete engine and application calibrations to meet customer performance targets
- Test new and existing engine products to validate suitability for customer applications
- Provide technical support to customers related to product performance and calibration
- Support continuous improvement and optimization of engine systems
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- Experience with engine calibration, testing, or development
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Basic understanding of electrical, software, and mechanical engineering principles
- Understanding of key engineering fundamentals including:
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Rotational and linear mechanical dynamics
- Thermodynamics
- Electrical circuits
- Compressible flow
- Familiarity with engine control systems, sensors, laboratory test equipment, and calibration techniques
