Job Title: Engine Mechanic
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Shift: 2nd Shift (12:00 PM - 8:30 PM)
Job Summary:
The Engine Mechanic I is an entry-level role responsible for assisting in the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of aero-derivative gas turbine engines. The position offers hands-on learning under the supervision of senior mechanics and subject-matter experts in a precision aerospace maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support engine disassembly, repair, and assembly processes following established work instructions.
  • Assist in preparing, cleaning, and visually inspecting engine parts and tools.
  • Learn and apply manufacturing methods and repair techniques through on-the-job training.
  • Review sketches, technical drawings, and related documents to support work accuracy.
  • Ensure all tasks comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) standards.
  • Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and adherence to company values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical education or training in a related field preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with gas turbine engines a plus.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and data systems.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (per FAA requirements).
