What is an engagement program manager?

Engagement Program Managers are professionals responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that foster relationships and engagement between an organization and its stakeholders. These stakeholders can include customers, employees, partners, or community members. Their role often involves coordinating events, managing communications, measuring engagement metrics, and ensuring that engagement initiatives align with the organization's goals. • Build and maintain digital learning content that advances technical, functional, and professional capability development.
  • Own the learner experience for assigned programs by ensuring content is relevant, accessible, well-structured, and aligned with adult learning principles.

  • Manage course creation, updates, assignments, and deployment within Workday Learning, helping establish efficient and scalable learning administration practices.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve training content based on stakeholder feedback, learner insights, and evolving business needs.
  • Bring creativity and innovation to the design process through modern instructional methods, digital tools, and interactive learning approaches.

Program Coordination & Delivery Management

  • Lead end-to-end coordination of training programs and events throughout the year to ensure seamless execution and a high-quality participant experience.
  • Manage training rosters, enrollment tracking, attendance coordination, and related program records.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for communications with managers, participants, trainers, and facilitators before, during, and after training events.

  • Ensure all training materials, resources, and program details are prepared accurately and delivered on schedule.
  • Maintain program calendars, timelines, and logistics plans to ensure consistent execution across multiple learning initiatives.
  • Anticipate and resolve operational issues quickly while maintaining a professional and learner-focused experience.

Collaboration, Program Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Partner closely with the Talent Development Leader to advance learning priorities for the Energy Services & Controls business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, business leaders, facilitators, vendors, and subject matter experts to execute learning initiatives that advance capability building and business performance.
  • Provide coordination and project leadership across multiple simultaneous programs, helping align deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
