Aftermarket Sales Position - East Windsor, CT
Blake Thermal Sales & Service Inc., a full-service thermal solutions firm and manufacture's representative is seeking an Aftermarket Sales representative for our East Windsor, CT region.
We're on the hunt for a multi-talented individual to sell our parts and service, as well as maintain relationships with our customers for all the solutions that we offer. Whether you are a boiler industry salesperson or are experienced in the trades, you may have the unique technical knowledge we seek. For those in the trades, instead of solving problems with a wrench, you will be resolving issues with your technical knowledge and the lines and parts Blake Thermal offers.
If you are people-oriented, love everything about a boiler room, and take pride in your ability to figure out and solve complicated thermal situations, this job may be ideal for you. You'll spend most of your time in the field, visiting customers 3-5 times per day. You must be a self-starter, as this is mostly a self-directed job, requiring you to organize your own route each day, packing in as many targets as you can. You will supplement your knowledge by diving into the manufacture's Learning Management System (LMS) to gain certification along the way.

This role is responsible for providing aftermarket support and sales through existing accounts and new accounts. Key tasks include business development, customer relationship management, and brand awareness. You will focus on large end users in the industrial, institutional, and municipal markets who have central plant water and thermal systems. Organizations include but are not limited to: universities, colleges, hospitals, correctional facilities, food processing, semiconductor, chemical, paper mills and more.
Responsibilities:
  1. Apply strategic expertise to drive Blake Thermal brand awareness of all boiler, water systems, and MRO solutions to channel.
  2. Locating, developing, and defining new and existing business relationships to discover and close opportunities to sell mechanical MRO parts and supplies, equipment replacement/upgrade, equipment service, and maintenance.
  3. Effectively drive sales; meeting or exceeding sales targets for assigned territory.
  4. Assist in the development of business objectives, strategies, and plans specific to clients within assigned territory.
  5. Manage relationships with key accounts by effectively delivering customer value for sustained growth.
  6. Use consultative approach to provide customers with best solutions.
  7. Maintain CRM tool with contacts, pipeline, opportunities, and forecasts.
  8. Maintain a high level of activity in relevant trade groups/associations.
  9. Develop specifications, proposals, submittals, and effective presentations.
  10. Support corporate goals and initiatives.
  11. Collect and share information on competitive, market, and industry trends with corporate.
  12. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key decision makers, influencers, manufacturers, and personnel.

Desired Skills
  1. Results oriented, highly organized sales professional.
  2. Experience in sales/marketing of Thermal Energy Solutions.
  3. Proven abilities in customer service and sales skills, excellent communication, follow up, and organizational skills.
  4. This position requires frequent travel but overnight travel is limited.
  5. Valid driver's license with proven safe driving record.
  6. Knowledge of CRM tools, Netsuite a plus.
