Job description

Assistant General Manager, Burlington International Airport

The Skinny Pancake Local Food Good Vibes CrepePowered Community

Do you love great food, great people, and the kind of upbeat environment where leaders roll up their sleeves, jump in with the team, and keep the good vibes flowing? Perfect. Because The Skinny Pancake is looking for a fun, driven, peopleloving Assistant General Manager to help lead one of our busiest locations.

We're a Vermontborn creperie with a mission: serve delicious local food, build community, and make the world a little better (and a lot tastier). With locations across VT, NY, and MA - and more on the horizon - we're growing fast. And we want someone who's excited to grow with us.

What This Role Feels Like

Think of yourself as the cocaptain of a joyful, fastmoving, communitycentered ship. You'll support the General Manager, keep the team humming, and make sure every guest - from earlymorning regulars to midday rushseekers - gets a warm welcome and a great meal.

Our managers crosstrain across the board because hospitality is a team sport. FOH, BOH, dish, expo - if it helps the team, you're in.

What You Bring

  • Restaurant experience - 3+ years (bonus points if you've rocked both FOH and BOH)
  • Management experience - 2+ years of leading humans with heart and at the helm
  • Hospitality energy - the kind that inspires others
  • Coaching + teambuilding skills
  • Highvolume experience (preferred)
  • A love for local food, community, and good vibes
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass a fingerprint and background check for TSA security

What You'll Do

  • Be the right hand to the General Manager
  • Be a hands-on leader working shoulder to shoulder on the line, behind the counter, and anywhere there is a need to keep things running smoothly
  • Lead with honesty, compassion, and a strong work ethic
  • Help us hit financial goals (and celebrate when we do)
  • Coach, train, and uplift the team
  • Oversee food timing, quality, safety, and inventory

What You Get

  • $65,000-$70,000 salary
  • 12 days of PTO (available after 6 months)
  • Paid training that sets you up for success
  • Health insurance (BCBS) with a significant company contribution
  • Dental + vision options
  • HSA access
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • CSA costshare program (yes, veggies!)
  • Free shift meals + team dining discounts
  • 401(k) with company match after one year
  • Real opportunities for growth - we're expanding, and so can you

Ready to Lead the Pancake Crew?

If you're a hospitality-loving leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves supporting a team, and wants to be part of a mission-driven, community-minded company, we'd love to meet you.

Bring your energy. Bring your curiosity. Bring your love of good food and good people.

We'll bring the crepes.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We welcome all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, creed, age, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, gender expression, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, military status, or veteran status.

Love Local. The Skinny Pancake is on a mission to change the world by building a safer, healthier, and more delicious food shed while creating everyday enjoyment that is both fun and affordable. Please join us.
