Job Summary

Mesa Energy Systems is seeking an IT Support Representative II to provide intermediate technical support for approximately 1,700 employees across 22 branches in four states. This role supports end users with hardware, software, account access, network connectivity, and standard IT service issues while helping maintain reliable day-to-day IT operations. The position works with moderate independence to troubleshoot and resolve routine to moderately complex issues, escalate advanced matters as needed, document support activity, assist with deployments and onboarding support, and contribute to consistent, responsive service delivery across the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

   Provide Help Desk support by phone, walk-up, email, and ticketing system for end-user hardware, software, account, connectivity, and standard IT service issues.    Troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve, monitor, and test routine to moderately complex technical issues, escalating advanced or widespread issues as needed.    Install, configure, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, hardware components, and proprietary or commercial applications.    Assist with daily IT operations, including support calls, laptop deployments, equipment setups, rapid response needs, and occasional off-hours or offsite support.    Provide basic IT training for new employees and serve as a first point of contact for new employee technology questions.    Maintain user information in Active Directory, Azure AD, update inventory records, and document support requests, resolutions, configuration settings, and knowledge base content.    Follow established IT procedures, standards, security controls, compliance requirements, and asset management practices.    Identify recurring issues, suggest process or deployment improvements, and assist with larger assigned projects and technology initiatives.

Qualifications

   Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant certifications.    3+ years of experience in IT systems support, implementation, and maintenance; 2 considered with degree.    Experience with Windows 11, O365, Global Protect, PrinterLogic, Cortex, Tanium, and/or Verkada preferred.     Familiarity with Ethernet and network Communications equipment and ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS issues.    Knowledge of networking, servers, and databases    Experience with cybersecurity best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and data encryption.    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communicative, and collaborative skills required.
