Our school year starting rate is $13.00 per hour with the potential to receive more based-on responsibilities.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • To provide transportation to and from the Earlywine Park YMCA and several elementary schools within the Moore Public Schools District utilizing the YMCA 14 passenger vans.
  • No CDL Required.
  • This is a very high energy program, requiring positive interaction with the children continually throughout the shift.
Morning and afternoon shifts are available, but both are not required to be hired for the position.
Morning shifts: 7:45-9:15am and 8:15-9:15am
Afternoon shifts: 2:30-4:30pm and 3:30-4:30pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors and volunteers.
  • Establish a positive relationship with each child.
  • Ensure the safety and well being of all children.
  • Report all injuries and incidents to the site coordinator and/or program director.
  • Assist in maintaining minor upkeep of the vehicles (internal cleanliness, fill up gas tank, etc).
  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings to help plan activities.
  • Develop positive relationships with parents and staff.
  • Display YMCA core values (Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility at all times)
  • Position may require work outside the regularly scheduled program hours.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Must be certified in PR/CPR, AED, O2, and First Aid. (Training provided by the Y, if needed)
  • Must have an interest in, and like children and exemplify and support the YMCA philosophy.
  • Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Must attend all scheduled YMCA trainings, have current CPR certification and uphold the YMCA employee appearance guidelines.
