About The Opportunity

A large enterprise organization is seeking an experienced Power Control Systems professional to support critical operational technology platforms used within power generation and energy operations environments.

This role will be responsible for supporting, configuring, maintaining, and improving operational systems that enable real-time monitoring, control, scheduling, dispatch, and performance management across complex energy operations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting operational technology (OT), industrial control systems, power operations platforms, and system integrations within a highly available environment.

Job Description

The Power Control Systems expert will provide technical leadership and support for operational systems used in power generation and energy operations. This role will work closely with operations, engineering, cybersecurity, and technology teams to ensure system reliability, performance, security, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, administer, and support operational technology platforms used in power operations environments.
  • Support system integrations between operational, automation, and business systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex system, performance, and data flow issues.
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, patches, and system modernization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to improve system performance and reliability.
  • Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives within operational environments.
  • Assist with data integration, reporting, and operational visibility initiatives.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting power operations, operational technology, industrial control systems, or related environments.
  • Experience administering, configuring, implementing, or supporting operational systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting business-critical platforms.
  • Understanding of system integrations, data flows, and interface technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting generation management, energy management, SCADA, or related operational systems.
  • Experience supporting real-time operational environments.
  • Experience integrating operational and enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communications, operational data platforms, or automation technologies.
