To thrive as an Energy Law Intern, you need a solid understanding of legal principles, regulatory frameworks, and energy sector fundamentals, typically supported by coursework in energy law and enrollment in a JD program. Familiarity with legal research databases (like Westlaw or LexisNexis), document review systems, and Microsoft Office is important for daily tasks.
