BOXX Modular rents, leases and sells temporary and permanent modular buildings, including standard buildings ready for immediate delivery and custom-designed solutions. We work with our customers to design and deliver customized solutions, and provide additional services such as delivery and installation, furniture rentals and other add-ons. We work with customers in many different industries including construction, commercial, infrastructure, institutional, government, industrial, oil and gas, mining, utilities, disaster relief, healthcare, engineering and special events.

BOXX Modular is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for its Houston, Texas branch. This role will begin as remote and transition to an in-office position in the second half of the year.
The Inside Sales Representative role will be responsible for driving business growth across their assigned region which will include researching and identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key customers across various industries, and promoting BOXX Modular's products.
The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional who excels at generating new business, building strong customer relationships, and managing a sales pipeline. Is a strong communicator and a proactive, customer-focused approach to driving growth and ensuring satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Research and identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calls, and industry reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers in industries like construction, energy, government, and healthcare.
  • Promote BOXX Modular as a preferred vendor and leverage technology to manage sales activities.
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and provide technical sales and service support.
  • Respond to and resolve product inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Handle incoming sales calls and walk-in business when needed.
  • Prepare competitive quotations and contracts, adhering to company policies.
  • Track sales and rental progress using Salesforce CRM and update customer profiles.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale and follow up on payment collections.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote BOXX Modular products.
  • Manage and track operational and business development expenditures.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications - Inside Sales Representative
  • 2-3 years of inside sales or business development experience
  • Proven track record in lead generation and closing sales
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in construction, modular, or related industries is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

This is a full-time position with a salary commensurate with experience and industry standards. Excellent benefits package and participation in the BOXX Modular Commission Plan.
