Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Financial Analyst supporting the Global Customer Organization Americas (GCO AM), you will serve as the key financial interface between project execution teams, controlling organizations, and business leadership. You will coordinate financial activities for a project-based business, including forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making across the organization. Your role will focus on providing transparency into business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, supporting audit activities, and driving continuous improvement through digitalization and process optimization.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data to support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities for the Global Customer Organization Americas while ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives
  • Analyze financial performance by investigating deviations between actual results and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing meaningful insights to business stakeholders and management
  • Partner with Project Management, Bid Management, Engineering, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support financial controlling activities, ad hoc business requests, and strategic initiatives across the organization
  • Coordinate and support quarterly audit activities, legal entity requirements, and finance-related processes, including RIC, tax audits, foreign exchange (FX), and other financial governance activities
  • Prepare financial reports, analyses, and presentations to support management reviews, business performance discussions, and decision-making processes
  • Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes by supporting digital transformation initiatives, implementing automation solutions, and leveraging tools such as Alteryx, KNIME, SAP, and other financial technologies to improve efficiency and data quality
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in financial analysis, controlling, accounting, or a related finance role; experience supporting project management or project-based environments preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, percentage of completion (PoC) accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business controlling processes
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required; SAP experience highly desirable, with exposure to financial automation and analytics tools such as Alteryx or KNIME preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, take initiative, and effectively partner with stakeholders across the organization
