Energy Alloys Global Solutions, a BioUrja Group company, is a global distributor of corrosion resistant steel and chromium alloy metals to the oil and gas industry. Our main products include mechanical tubes, OCTG tubes, casing and coupling stock, bars, liners, and semi-finished alloy products, all of which are available for immediate shipment. We carry Chrome, Nickel, Stainless Steel, Duplex, Alloys, and Titanium of various sizes in stock. Energy Alloys Global Solutions also provides complete OD and ID machining, heat treating, straightening and cut-to-length services.

JOB SUMMARY
The Forklift & Saw Operator is responsible for operating saw equipment and forklifts to safely and efficiently measure, cut, move, and package steel products according to customer specifications. This role supports production and warehouse operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Measure materials, operate band saws, verify cuts, and package products per customer specifications.
  • Drive forklifts throughout the shop to load, unload, and move steel bar and tube safely.
  • Operate forklifts with capacities above 12,000 lbs in a safe and effective manner.
  • Operate overhead cranes and packing equipment as required.
  • Use tape measures and verify dimensions to ensure product accuracy and traceability.
  • Perform machine operations based on customer drawings and production requirements.
  • Meet individual productivity, quality, and on-time delivery expectations.
  • Follow all Energy Alloys Global Solutions safety policies and Global Manufacturing Processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and warehouse environment.
  • Complete required OSHA forklift safety training every three (3) years.
  • Participate in training sessions, meetings, inventory counts, and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records and report deficiencies or safety concerns to management.
  • Perform manual labor and other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Technical School preferred. High School required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of band saw and forklift experience.
  • Experience in machine shop helpful.
  • Ability to work in a team environment across all disciplines.
  • Team player and customer service oriented.
  • Ability to work in a team environment across all disciplines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to wear and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), may include but is not limited to, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other protective equipment as required
  • Walking, stepping, climbing, or otherwise moving from one location on the job site to another
  • Standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, squatting, climbing, crawling, or sitting for long periods of time.
  • Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands and back in performance of work.
  • Lifting objects of maximum single-person lift limit of 50lbs, with frequent lifting and carrying.
  • Adapting to temperature changes, outdoor conditions, and prolonged exposure to dusty, wet, or humid conditions, loud noises, and vibration.
  • Visually inspecting equipment and verifying information, often in small print.
  • Operating machinery safely and be alert and aware of surroundings at all times.
  • Applying sideways/upward/downward pressure to tighten and loosen hardware.
