Senior Microsoft Platform Engineer 5318

Microsoft 365 | Intune | SCCM | Endpoint Management

Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite first 90 days, then Hybrid)

Type: Contract-to-Hire (3-6 Months)

Pay: $45-$50/hour W2

Schedule: During the first 30 days, you'll participate in knowledge transfer sessions with our UK team beginning at 7:00 AM PST. You may work remotely from 7:00-9:00 AM before reporting onsite.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Microsoft Platform Engineer to lead the design, administration, and modernization of our Microsoft 365 and endpoint management environment. You'll drive initiatives around Microsoft 365 E5, Intune, SCCM, application deployment, automation, endpoint security, and cloud device management while partnering with Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk teams.

What You'll Do

  • Own and optimize the Microsoft 365 E5 platform
  • Administer Microsoft Intune and SCCM environments
  • Modernize endpoint management using cloud-first and co-managed solutions
  • Manage Windows Autopilot, device provisioning, compliance policies, and endpoint security
  • Package and deploy enterprise applications through Intune, SCCM, and Company Portal
  • Lead Windows patch management using Windows Update for Business, Autopatch, and SCCM
  • Automate administration and reporting with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph
  • Create technical documentation, standards, and operational best practices
  • Partner with business and IT teams to deliver secure, scalable Microsoft solutions
  • Provide Tier III engineering support and mentor junior team members
