This role is part of Enterprise Technology (ET), where we're developing the digital infrastructure needed to build the road to space, with an emphasis on digital capabilities required to advance Blue Origin's mission. Enterprise Technology is the center of excellence for digital technology at Blue Origin, providing oversight and governance to align technology and business strategies.
We are a team of collaborators, doers, and problem-solvers who are relentlessly committed to a culture of performance, safety and modernization. This position will directly impact our organization's IT Endpoint Experience and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards secure and efficient endpoint management.
As a member of the Endpoint Experience Team, a hardworking group of administrators and engineers, you will provide critical Endpoint Management and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to support our staff across various systems within Blue Origin. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of endpoint management, including mobile devices, Macintosh systems, and other enterprise endpoints. You must have a passion for solving complex and interesting problems, adapting quickly and as needed to support our unique environment and demanding customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Configure and support Endpoint Management solutions, primarily Microsoft Intune
  • Administer and maintain Macintosh management systems using Jamf
  • Support all aspects of endpoint management, including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, backup, and security-related functions
  • Install, configure, deploy, patch, and automate all aspects of endpoint infrastructure
  • Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
  • Document processes and infrastructure
  • Drive and lead improvements across the endpoint management spectrum
  • Regular participation in on-call rotation

Qualifications:
  • Background in endpoint management and mobile device management
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Intune for Endpoint Management
  • Proficiency in Jamf for Macintosh management
  • Entra and Active Directory administration
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting and support
  • Minimum of a B.S. degree in information systems or computer science, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years' experience working in information technology in system administration/engineering
  • Strong automation and scripting skills to optimize for consistency and efficiency
  • Customer Service-oriented attitude to support and instruct computer users with technical backgrounds
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
