Endoscopy Technician

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO

Pay Rate: $ 1600 To $ 1880/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: 10-Hour Day Shifts | Rotating Call

Experience: Minimum 2 Years Endoscopy Experience Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy / GI Technician to support physicians and nursing staff during advanced gastrointestinal procedures in a fast-paced endoscopy department. The ideal candidate will be experienced in complex endoscopy cases, endoscope reprocessing, equipment setup, and maintaining high standards of patient care and infection prevention.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and nursing staff during advanced GI procedures including biopsies, polypectomies, ERCPs, dilations, and screening exams.

  • Prepare procedure rooms, operate and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment, and maintain adequate supplies.

  • Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopic equipment following infection control protocols.

  • Assist with patient preparation, transportation, monitoring setup, dressing, and ambulation.

  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring patient safety and quality care throughout procedures.

Requirements

  • Active Colorado DORA Surgical Tech Registration required.

  • Current BLS (AHA) and Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification required.

  • SGNA Associate or Advanced Associate Program required.

  • Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI Technician experience with advanced GI procedures required.

  • Strong knowledge of endoscopy equipment, sterile processing, patient care, and teamwork in a procedural setting.
