Job Description

The Encore Specialist works closely with the Sales Department on delivering an exceptional client experience. This position will be responsible for the delivery & re-delivery of vehicles to the new owner, ensuring our clients are fully informed on functions, paperwork, warranty, and service scheduling. This position will also be responsible for reporting/claiming the Encore deliveries with JLR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
  1. To model by example the Company’s mission statement by being an empowered, passionate and positive associate who provides exceptional personalized service to the Company’s guests and community. To live by the Standards of Excellence set forth by Dimmitt Automotive Group.
  2. Fully support and conduct the new vehicle Initial Handover. Taking time to ensure our clients fully understand all operational features, paperwork, warranty, and service scheduling of their new Land Rover.
  3. Establish deep trust and rapport with every owner, remaining the main point-of-contact for how-to, difficult-to-understand and/or defect questions. In the case of defects, facilitate the connection to the Service Department.
  4. Fully represent the retailer at all times in order to deepen the retailer-owned rapport through unique engagement opportunities, naturally increasing overall loyalty.
  5. New and Used car deliveries.
  6. Acquire and maintain an excellent understanding of Land Rover products and understand competitors’ features and benefits.
  7. Following up with each new vehicle client and scheduling an “Encore” presentation of features and benefits of their new Land Rover.
  8. Keep current in his/her knowledge of Jaguar Land Rover vehicle system functional/operational changes and updates that occur throughout each model year.
  9. Treat all other dealership departments as our customers – their satisfaction with our performance is paramount to our success.
  10. Utilize opportunities to cross train/educate outside of the department to improve knowledge of product and procedures.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in the automotive industry or retail technology sales required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Must have a clean driving record and unrestricted driver’s license.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training

High School diploma or the equivalent
