In this fully remote role, you will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals. We utilize telehealth technology to conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions, ensuring that our services are accessible to clients when and where they need them most. • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions via secure virtual platforms, employing evidence-based practices to address a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
• Work collaboratively with clients to create tailored treatment plans that encompass their unique needs and goals, facilitating holistic recovery and well-being.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental distress, developing strategies to ensure their safety and appropriate follow-up care.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records in adherence with HIPAA regulations and other pertinent state and federal guidelines.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, sharing insights and helping to create a unified approach to treatment.
• Keep abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in mental health counseling to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and client outcomes.

As a mental health counselor at Aurora Insight, you will serve a diverse client population, including individuals of varied backgrounds, ages, and mental health experiences. Your role will encompass working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing a supportive and culturally competent environment that recognizes the unique challenges faced by each client. Your insights will directly contribute to improving the quality of care and enhancing overall patient outcomes.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in Oregon as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT; candidates with provisional licensure will also be considered.
• Proven experience providing effective counseling services to a variety of populations in individual, family, and group settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of rapport and trust with diverse clients.
• Commitment to providing culturally affirming and trauma-informed care in an inclusive environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities conducive to documenting patient interactions and collaborating with team members.
• A capacity for independent work while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Utilization of telehealth practices and familiarity with virtual counseling tools.
• Experience with specific populations such as children, families in crisis, or those affected by serious mental health disorders.
• Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development through workshops, conferences, or further education.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
