We are excited to announce an opening for a remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at A Better Self Behavioral and Psychological Center in Beavercreek, Oregon. This full-time position invites licensed professionals, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), to join our team dedicated to supporting individuals and families grappling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. This position plays a key role in guiding clients on their journey toward recovery through tailored therapeutic interventions and compassionate care.

• Provide comprehensive individual, family, and group therapy sessions, applying evidence-based techniques to foster healing and growth.
• Conduct thorough initial assessments followed by ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and adapt treatment strategies accordingly.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique strengths and challenges, continually reassessing their needs throughout the therapeutic process.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing valuable insights to enhance the client's holistic care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sessions and treatments in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Our patient population primarily includes individuals and families struggling with substance abuse issues alongside co-occurring mental health disorders. The clients we serve come from diverse backgrounds and often face various socioeconomic barriers. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will utilize your expertise to understand and address the complex relational dynamics that influence these individuals' mental health and recovery journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and active license in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Science as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or relevant clinical credentials (e.g., PsyD).
• Strong commitment to ethical practice, multicultural competency, and a client-centered approach.
• Ability to engage effectively and empathetically with clients using positive regard and rapport-building skills.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting that includes substance use disorders and mental health treatment.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms for virtual therapy sessions, along with strong technological skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to create a comprehensive approach to client care.

We offer an attractive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually commensurate with experience and qualifications.
