Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team at Aurora Insight Psychological Services. In this full-time remote position, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health counseling to individuals, families, and groups, significantly impacting the lives of our clients. This role requires a current licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to address a wide array of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and promote holistic well-being.
• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and facilitating immediate support as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in adherence to all relevant state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in the mental health field through ongoing education and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied client population at our community health clinic, ranging from adolescents to adults who present with diverse mental health challenges. Our approach prioritizes cultural competence and inclusivity, allowing you to engage with clients from various backgrounds and experiences. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring equitable access to mental health services and fostering a supportive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in Oregon as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure.
• Proven experience providing counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to establish and maintain rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A deep commitment to cultural competence and delivering affirming care tailored to individual client needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team.
• Capacity to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using telehealth platforms to deliver therapy services effectively.
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Background in providing services within a community health setting, catering to underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, which is competitive within the industry.
