To thrive as an Encompass Developer, you need strong programming skills (often in VB.NET or C#), a solid understanding of mortgage workflows, and experience with Encompass LOS (Loan Origination System). Familiarity with Encompass SDK, Ellie Mae APIs, and Encompass automation tools, along with relevant certifications like Ellie Mae Certified Administrator, are typically required.
