Tri Pointe Connect, the mortgage affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes, is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group in Scottsdale, AZ, as an Encompass Administrator Manager. This position is hybrid working out of the Scottsdale Operations Center.
Job Details
Position Summary: The Encompass Administrator Manager oversees the administration, configuration, optimization, governance, and ongoing support of the Encompass mortgage loan origination system. This role leads Encompass system strategy and day-to-day administration, partners closely with Mortgage Operations, Production, Compliance, IT, and other business stakeholders, and manages resources responsible for delivering system enhancements, user support, integrations, testing, documentation, and process improvements. The position ensures Encompass effectively supports lending operations, regulatory requirements, data integrity, user experience, and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Lead the team and the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Encompass loan origination system.
โ€ข Manage and guide Encompass administration resources, including prioritizing work, providing technical direction, supporting development, and ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
โ€ข Establish and maintain governance practices for system changes, user access, permissions, security, business rules, workflows, forms, fields, personas, milestones, and notifications.
โ€ข Partner with Mortgage Operations, Production, Compliance, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into scalable system solutions.
โ€ข Oversee development, testing, documentation, implementation, and change management for Encompass enhancements, releases, patches, integrations, and process improvements.
โ€ข Evaluate and support integrations between Encompass, third-party vendor platforms, internal applications, reporting tools, and other mortgage technology solutions.
โ€ข Troubleshoot complex system issues, lead root-cause analysis, coordinate resolutions, and manage escalations with internal teams and external vendors.
โ€ข Monitor system performance, data integrity, workflow efficiency, automation opportunities, and user experience to identify and implement improvements.
โ€ข Ensure configurations, workflows, and system controls support company policies, audit standards, compliance requirements, and applicable mortgage regulations.
โ€ข Maintain system documentation, configuration records, procedures, training resources, support guides, and change-management records.
โ€ข Provide advanced technical support, coaching, and guidance to Encompass users and internal support teams.
โ€ข Lead or participate in cross-functional projects involving new products, process changes, system integrations, vendor implementations, reporting enhancements, and organizational initiatives.
โ€ข Develop recommendations for system roadmap priorities, resource needs, operational improvements, and technology enhancements.
โ€ข Stay current on Encompass capabilities, ICE Mortgage Technology updates, mortgage technology trends, and relevant industry requirements.
โ€ข Lead, mentor, and develop a mortgage technology team to achieve established performance, quality, timely, and accurate problem-solving results.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
โ€ข 8+ years of experience managing, administering, configuring, or supporting Encompass in a mortgage lending environment.
โ€ข Encompass Administrator Certification (ICE), required.
โ€ข Experience with Encompass configuration, workflows, business rules, forms, fields, personas, and user administration.
โ€ข Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into system solutions.
Skills:
โ€ข Strong understanding of mortgage loan origination processes from application through closing and post-closing.
โ€ข Experience with Encompass Developer Connect, APIs, webhooks, or other Encompass integrations.
โ€ข Experience with Encompass SmartClient and/or Encompass Web.
โ€ข Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or reporting tools.
โ€ข Experience with mortgage technology integrations and vendor platforms.
โ€ข Familiarity with mortgage compliance and regulatory requirements.
โ€ข Experience with Agile, project management, or formal change-management processes.
โ€ข Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
โ€ข Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
