2015 Construction Estimator

We’re seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team and take ownership of estimating and selling reconstruction projects within the property damage and restoration industry.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused — someone who communicates clearly, builds trust easily, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality estimates.

This is a base salary plus commission position, with compensation aligned to your experience and industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed on-site inspections to determine scope, materials, and labor needs.
  • Prepare accurate, thorough estimates using Xactimate and other industry tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, property managers, insurance adjusters, and trade partners.
  • Record project details, updates, and communications within company systems, including Outlook, Dash, Encircle, and Xactimate.
  • Communicate consistently and professionally with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Present solutions clearly and persuasively to highlight value and build client confidence.
  • Partner closely with other departments to ensure seamless project handoffs and overall success.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Familiarity with building codes and restoration industry standards.
  • Strong computer and software skills (Outlook, Xactimate, Dash, Encircle).
  • 2+ years of experience in construction or property restoration estimating.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
