Job Description

We are seeking a Director, Sales Enablement & Training to join Visa's Value-Added Services (VAS) organization and drive training and enablement programs designed to meet the goals of Go-to-Market (GTM) teams. In this role, you will directly manage individuals responsible for deploying strategic sales programs tailored to effectively position Visa's products and solutions within the five regions Visa operates in. You will manage a global calendar of highly matrixed sales motions aligned to regional priorities, build flexible training frameworks and tools to meet desired goals. You will proactively collect and package best practices and communicate insights out to key stakeholders and sales leaders across Visa. The ideal candidate brings a blend of training expertise, project management skills, sales acumen, and leadership, with the energy and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional partners - including GTM Leaders, Visa University, Global Sales and Commercial Operations, Solution Management Marketing, and Sales Excellence leads - to build and deliver consistent, high-impact and comprehensive enablement frameworks designed to be customized and deployed by your employees within the regions. Responsibilities:

What You will do:

  • Sales Training & Enablement Leadership:
    • Directly oversee 5x Sales Training & Enablement employees located in each of our regional hubs (Dubai, London, Singapore, Miami and San Francisco)
    • Create and maintain highly matrixed skill curricula and training frameworks designed to accommodate different sales motions and seller roles.
    • Execute a comprehensive enablement strategy aligned with global VAS go-to-market priorities, allowing for easy customization and insertion of local market intelligence.
    • Own the global calendar of regional sales enablement events and activations
    • Partner with Global Sales Enablement to ensure training content and enablement programs are aligned with product launch timelines, seller workflows, and priorities.
    • Manage the documentation of Regional VAS priority products and the selection of the Global Priority Products for which VAS Global Content Designers are responsible for supporting.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between regional team members, GTM leaders and management, facilitating clear communication and delegation of tasks effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Gather feedback from sellers and managers to deploy action plans aimed at refining training programs and improving seller effectiveness across VAS.
    • Build and deploy a Seller Recognition program, leveraging data and analytics to reward sales excellence and document seller best practices
    • Provide coaching, identify skill gaps, and support professional growth through personalized development plans for the individual you manage.

Visarequiresat least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • We are Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in sales enablement, training, or related roles, preferably in technology or payments.
  • People leader with a track record successfully managing individuals located across the globe
  • Proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs for B2B sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and what sellers need to succeed.
  • Skilled in creating engaging content, leveraging digital tools, and training individuals to leverage them for success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and collaborate across multiple teams

U.S. Applicants Only

The estimated salary range for this positionis $169,600.00 to $ 271,400.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
