Starting Pay: $19.25 Per Hour
If you are actively enrolled in an EMT program, you can begin working as an EMR with us here at LIFEwest Ambulance as operational support. Once you have completed your EMT program and passed your NREMT, we administratively move you into an EMT position.
EMR Requirements:
  • Actively enrolled in an EMT program
  • CPR certified

EMR Job Responsibilities:
  • Operational support - cleaning ambulances, restocking supplies on ambulance
  • Wheelchair transports
  • Standby events at Sonoma Raceway
  • Ride-a-longs for BLS transports

Services provided at LIFEwest include: Critical Care Transport (CCT), 911 Emergency Response, Medical Standby, and Interfacility Transport.
