Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) 

Part-Time | Willow Valley Communities | Lakes Campus - Willow Street, PA

In this role, you'll provide wellness-focused care in both office and home settings, helping Residents maintain independence while delivering exceptional support when it matters most.

Compensation

EMT: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

LPN: $22.50 - $26.50 per hour (based on experience)

Shift Differentials

  • +$4.00/hour for weeknight shifts
  • +$6.00/hour for weekend shifts
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to Resident calls and assess care needs
  • Provide emergency response services, including CPR and AED support
  • Deliver Basic Life Support (BLS) care according to established protocols
  • Assist with acute and short-term illness care under medical directives
  • Monitor Resident conditions and communicate changes to healthcare providers
  • Obtain and document vital signs, blood glucose readings, and pulse oximetry results
  • Maintain emergency equipment and nursing office operations
  • Collaborate with Resident Services and Supportive Living teams to support care plans
  • Assist with Resident transportation as needed
  • Support wellness meal program operations
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and reports
  • Utilize technology, including computer systems and iPads
  • Assist with onboarding and training new team members
  • Provide concierge support as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Health EMS Basic Life Support Protocols
Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Pennsylvania EMT certification OR Pennsylvania LPN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • AED training/certification
Schedule Options

Option 1: Part-Time

  • 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
  • Every Friday night
  • + every other Saturday night & every other holiday

Option 2: Part Time

  • 3:00 PM-11:30 PM
  • 1 evening per week
  • + every other weekend & every other holiday
