Job description

EMT/AEMT Positions Available

We are currently looking for EMT/AEMT's to work as part of the Care Flight Critical Care Transport Team. We have full-time and per diem opportunities available.

In this position, you will coordinate a smooth and efficient system of stocking supplies and equipment on the ambulance/equipment rooms and the exchange of Care Flight user agency equipment.

Duties

  • Drives long distances throughout Northern Nevada and Northern California.
  • Responsible for timely, legible, highly accurate record keeping including patient care reports when applicable.
  • Assist Care Flight crew with patient management (transfer of equipment, patient movement etc.) within EMT or AEMT scope of practice.
  • Responsible for assisting CCT medical crew with base-specific inventory and ordering, and/or cleaning equipment to ensure it is always response-ready.
  • Responsible for assisting in the collection of, cleaning, logging and potentially returning Care Flight Requestor equipment.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements

  • Current State of Nevada EMT or AEMT certification.
  • Current BCLS/CPR certification required.
  • Pre-hospital experience preferred.
  • Experience in a high-performance ALS system beneficial.
  • Valid Nevada or California Driver's license required.
  • Experience operating an emergency vehicle a plus, a clean driving record is mandatory.
  • Self-starter requiring little oversight with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Experience in EMS and public education; field or classroom-based a plus.
  • Must be adaptable to change and able to function in a team-based management structure.
