What You'll Do
As a Registered Nurse in our Access Surgery Center, you'll be a vital member of the clinical team, helping patients navigate every stage of their procedure with confidence and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, verify informed consent, and administer medications, IV therapies, and conscious sedation as appropriate.
  • Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures, ensuring timely intervention and optimal outcomes.
  • Assess dialysis access sites for patency and identify potential complications or concerns.
  • Provide patient education and discharge instructions, ensuring patients and families understand home care requirements.
  • Facilitate safe patient transfers to EMS or hospital facilities when needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and enter clinical data to support patient follow-up and quality initiatives.
  • Support infection prevention efforts, quality assurance programs, and compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, crash cart maintenance, equipment checks, and overall operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.

What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of acute care or critical care nursing experience
  • Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
