Job Description

The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time to successfully perform the assigned duties.
Overview Duties:
  • Function as instructional leader in the skills laboratory and/or classroom.
  • Demonstrate professional behaviors consistent with industry standards (oral/written communication and appearance).
  • Establish professional learning environment using age-appropriate classroom management techniques.
  • Assist with set up and tear down of skills and activity stations.
  • Perform constructive interventions, debriefings and after-action reviews related to learning activities.
  • Demonstrate mutual respect for students, peers and guests.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Associate's degree
  • 2 years of full-time related experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and typing skills.
  • Instructor Certification (i.e. BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS)
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Ability and desire to work with a diverse group of students.
  • Certification/Licensure in EMT/Paramedic and in good standing.
  • 6 months related experience.
