EMS & Safety Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an EMS & Safety Manager to lead with confidence, respond with care, and keep safety at the heart of the Kalahari Experience. In this role, you will help create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for both our guests and associates. You will oversee emergency response efforts, respond to and document guest injuries, and conduct thorough post-incident investigations to help identify opportunities for continued safety and improvement.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure prompt, professional emergency response and maintain high standards of health and safety across the resort.
Salary Range - $53,000 - $55,000
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the resort EMS department.
  • Conduct investigations of accidents, close calls, and other safety-related incidents occurring with guests and/or associates in conjunction with safety leadership.
  • Ensuring all Guest and Associate incident reports are being completed in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
  • Managing incident report documentation files. Ensuring each is well documented and consistent with standards.
  • Assisting with production of documents when requested by the corporate claims department.
  • Completing guest follow-ups after an incident.

What We're Looking For
  • Valid Ohio EMS license (minimum EMT-B) required.
  • Valid BLS AHA CPR card required.
  • Five (5) years' experience in EMS preferred.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid NREMT preferred.
  • AHA Instructor, Stop the Bleed, OSHA, NIMS certifications preferred.
  • This is a full-time position, with various work hours and days, based on the resort's occupancy and special events. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
