Physician Assistant - Nurse Practitioner Raleigh, NC

Pay From: $40 per hour

MUST:

  • The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner must have experience:
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Experience in neurology is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
  • Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10) and CPT coding preferred
  • Skilled in performing advanced procedures such as IV insertion/infusion and botulinum toxin treatments
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams; strong organizational skills for managing complex cases
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening; excellent communication skills are essential for patient education and team coordination

DUTIES:

  • Conduct thorough neurological assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to evaluate patient conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders and chronic condition management
  • Perform advanced procedures such as IV infusions for multiple sclerosis, dementia, etc.
  • Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments, ensuring proper technique and patient safety
  • Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10)
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while working with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or dementia
